It is Tina's domination over Ashanti that Nelly doesn't like. About that, a source tells Star, "Tina sticks her nose in everything because she's also Ashanti's manager. She's always pushing Ashanti to make more money, to always look great. It stresses her out, and Nelly doesn't like that." Despite the fact that Nelly himself has been encouraging his singer girlfriend to not always depend on her mother, still "she's kind of afraid of" Tina because Tina "has such a strong personality." Accident Kills Child at Lil Boosie's Home

Early reports from Baton Rouge, Louisiana indicate an unfortunate accident has killed a 2-year-old child at the home of rap star Lil Boosie.The tragic accident occurred Tuesday afternoon (December 24) when a man accidentally ran his car over his own daughter.The accident allegedly happened just after 5PM, and the young girl succumbed to her injuries roughly an hour later at a local hospital.The accident is said to have occurred at the Centurion Place subdivision in Pompey.Neighbors confirmed to local news outlets that the death occurred at the home of Boosie, who regularly hosts gatherings for kids in the neighborhood.The child reportedly attended the get together to play on a trampoline. The child's parents are reported to have a total of five children.After collecting what he thought was all of his family, the father unknowingly backed out of the driveway and crushed his daughter.Although early speculation tagged Lil Boosie as the driver and the deceased as his daughter, those reports have not been confirmed.Authorities are withholding the name of the driver and the victim, but have confirmed no criminal charges will be filed.

"Lil Boosie was born Torrence Hatch in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on November 14, 1983, he was bestowed the nickname Boosie by his family and was raised on W. Garfield St. in a ghetto in the mean streets of south side Baton Rouge (SSB).

Growing up, Boosie was hardened by the many difficult experiences he was put through. His neighborhood, notorious for drugs and violence, was a place feared by the general population. To outsiders, it was a jungle, to residents, it was life. Boosie got very involved in basketball to stay off the streets, and was actually expected to move on to college level basketball.
At 14 years old, Boosie moved in to live with his grandmother after his father was murdered over drugs. Growing up with no father figure and without a strong guiding hand, Boosie turned to drugs and crime. After being expelled from school, Boosie picked up freestyling and began to get serious about his music. Living in the 225, Boosie had no contacts, no real means of exposure. Lil Boosie teamed up with Baton Rouge rapper C-Loc in the late 1990s and made his debut on C-Loc's 5th album, "It's a Gamble", which also featured Three Six Mafia, South Park Mexican, and the rest of the Concentration Camp. This album was a saving grace for C-Loc, as he was slowly losing popularity. Releasing this album put him back in the spotlight, as he had a new young tallented rapper at his side. After the incarceration, Boosie once again turned back to the streets. Ultimately, his behavior led to him also being incarcerated. At this point, Boosie felt as though he was a failure.
